Bad Relationship in Community

A bad relationship makes it hard to build a community or a mutual connection with someone. When you have a bad relationship, you have all these kinds of issues that come up and need to be solved. A bad relationship makes a community fall apart. People in that community would not care about how their community looks to outsiders. A bad relationship also leads the people in the community to talk about each other behind their backs (gossiping) and not look out for each other. It also leads to people judging each other on their lifestyle or choices. For example, in a book I read called “ Their Eyes Were Watching God” by Zora Neale Hurston , a woman named Janie had come back home after being away for a year and a half, and as she was walking down the path to her house her neighbors were gossiping about her. They were saying how she was too old to let her hair hang or how she thought she was higher than everybody else was. This relationship is bad because her neighbors are talking about her behind her back. They are jealous of her because she’s pretty and she doesn't act and look like she’s forty.
