Use your imagination to invent an ideal community that you would want to live in. What is the location? What is the climate? What types of people live there and what are their ages? What do people do on a day to day basis? How is the community governed? What laws and restrictions are in place? What is the availability of consumer goods (food, clothes, and recreation)? What community support systems are there? What are other aspects of this ideal community?

My ideal community is located in BJVILLE, USA. The climate is 75 degrees all day, it’s a pretty fair climate. The types of people that live there is regular people, but they are toned down a little. There is some action sometimes, but it’s only fighting. The ages range from newborns to 35 years of age. Everyone in the community is dimes (another term for fine). On a day to day basis, people go to school or work. School starts at 9:00am and lets out at 2:00pm. The work hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm. There are colleges and universities and everyone finishes school and goes to college. People get paid $10.75 an hour. People also work five out of seven days a week. A woman named BJ, who is twenty-four years old, governs the community. The laws are quite simple keep the community clean and no fighting. The punishment for breaking these two laws is community service for a week. In my community there is no stealing or killing. There are five gangs in the community, but they solve their problems by fighting. There is no drugs or drug dealing. I want my community to be something like Nelly’s ideal community but different. The restriction is people age 10-13 have to be in the house by 10:30pm on weekdays and 11:30 on weekends. People 13-18 have to be in by 2:00am weekdays and 5:00am on weekends. People 18 and older can stay out as long as the want to. The mall is a very reliable source. It has everything you need and more. It’s like the NorthRiverside mall, but 100 times better. The gym is fully equipped with everything you need for indoor sports. The park has everything you could imagine for a park. The supermarket has every type of food in the world for people who like different types of things. There are different types of community support system. It ranges from safety to consumer first issues. In my community people make about 500,000-10,000 dollars a year, so everyone is pretty secure. You might say how is that possible if people get paid $10.75 an hour for 5 days. That’s possible because if someone works on a holiday or on their off day, they get paid an extra twenty-five dollars an hour instead of the normal pay rate.
